We are pleased to announce the 5th European Lunar Symposium that will take place at the University of Munster, Germany on Tue, 2nd May and Wed, 3rd May, 2017 (pre-registration on the evening of Mon 1st May, 2017). Immediately following the ELS, New Views of the Moon 2 workshop will take place at the same venue on Thu, 4th May and Fri 5th May. Should you attend both meetings, you will have the opportunity to register for the NVM2 meeting at a discounted rate.
This meeting will build upon the success of previous European Lunar Symposiums (ELS) held in Berlin (2012), London (2014), Frascati (2015) and Amsterdam (2016). The fifth ELS will be held under the umbrella of the European nodes of the Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI).
The format will be similar to previous European Lunar Symposiums and will consist of both oral and poster presentations divided into four broad themes of: “Science of the Moon”, “Science on the Moon”, “Science from the Moon” and “Future Lunar Missions”.
Abstract submission opened on 1st Dec 2016 and the deadline has been extended to 16th Feb 2017.
In the meantime please block these dates in your diaries and we look forward to welcome you in Munster in May 2017!
